Is Anyone Playing Arcane Legions?
I wrote a review a few months ago and was wondering how the game was doing. My FLGS does not stock it and it has not really garnered much mention in my regular internet haunts. If you play, I would like to hear how the game is developing.
Trask, The Last Tyromancer
In Toledo, Ohio it seems to be doing well. Both local game stores carry the product and it seems to be selling steadily. Both store owners were upbeat when I talked to them, said that events are being organized and were hearing good reports.
I play, and it’s damned fun.
Where in T-town do you play? my gaming store closed down and when i go back home I want to find a place to hang out!
While I live in Toledo, I can’t say what is happening in the FLGS. However, my friend and I have played it and really like it. He is mostly a historical miniatures gamer so he plays a lot of DBA and Hordes of the Things as well as other mass miniature battles like Nepoleonics. We find the rules very straight forward and there never is a conflict about turning, wheeling and the general movement problems that persist in most miniatures games. We also like that it really isn’t non-collectible, too. We can everything easily for cheap. It is well worth the money.
Give it time. The first set of mechwarrior was fun too. promised support and prizes etc. and things of that nature. It all ended, and this was well before the game showed signs of death in my area.
Buyer beware.
