Wyrd Miniatures released “Wyrd Chronicles #3,” a free PDF magazine with some Malifaux backstory, painting and miniature assembly tips. It is all put together quite well and looks great. More importantly, it is free! One item inside the magazine caught my eye, a short advertisement for writers, editors, artists, painters and sculptors to join Malifaux’s staff. It contained no information about rates , but it was an open call. So, if you think you have what it takes to do any of the jobs listed above, send an email to the Wyrd Miniatures recruiting email address.
I made it an unspoken policy, now spoken, that I will always post when jobs in the gaming industry become available. There are relatively few open positions, even freelance in the gaming community, so I consider it a public service to advertise any positions I find. Good luck and please let me know if any of my readers get a gig. It will give me a warm, fuzzy feeling.
Oh, you might want to read my interview with Eric from Wyrd Miniatures. It might give you a competitive edge. 😉
