Spartacus: Gods of the Arena is Streaming on Netflix

“Spartacus: Gods of the Arena” is the second season of my favorite sex and violence soaked television show, “Spartacus.” Once again, it seems someone read a book about the Roman Empire before writing the script! Some of the historical touches like what a public privy looks like are fascinating, if a little disgusting by modern standards.  I wanted to mention that Starz streams Spartacus through Netflix the same night as the first television showing. I am sure there are many gladiator fans out there without Starz or like me, no cable at all, that want to see the show.

Just an FYI.

I was excited about the show when it first apeared but I don’t really care for the 300/Sin City type styling. Rome from HBO was my favorite by far ( it should have been called the Pullo and Vorenus show ) but if you really need your Spaticus fix you can always get yourself set up on Netflix streaming and no cable TV required 🙂
