Complete Gencon 2008 Exhibitor List with Hyperlinks and Descriptions

I noticed that Gencon posted a spreadsheet with a complete list of exhibitors/vendors at Gencon 2008 on their site. I downloaded it and discovered it only contained the exhibitor’s names and booth number.

This is the second major convention (Origins being the other) that failed to list website or contact information for the vendors attending the convention.  Considering these vendors pay serious money for booth space, listing their websites  on the convention site seems logical. Convention websites get great traffic in the weeks before a convention and I am certain the vendors would appreciate the exposure.

I, for one, like to know what is available at a convention before I arrive. It  allows me more time to beg my wife for more money to spend on gaming equipment.

In the interests of helping vendors in a bad economy (and my own traffic, of course ;-)) I spent a couple of hours compiling a list of Gencon vendors and their hyperlinks. I also included in a very brief description of what they sell/do. Any entry  marked “unknown” represents companies I could not find or their website was down. If anyone has updated information on these companies, please post it in the comments and I will update the post.

One final item, I did not have time to make the hyperlinks open in a new  browser window. If you want to look at multiple sites, I suggest you right-click and choose “open in new window/tab.” Otherwise you will navigate away from the list.

Happy shopping!

UPDATE: The list has moved!  RPGSeek.com now hosts the complete list of  Gen Con 2008 exhibitors.
